Airport Fire Services

Trauma and Resuscitation Services deliver the latest and most advanced trauma course currently available to non-medical organisations. The Immediate Emergency Care (IEC) course is the product of the latest medical thinking coupled with the input from the most experienced practitioners in pre-hospital care in the UK. We tailor this course to specifically represent the unique circumstances that Airport Fire and Rescue Service personnel may find themselves in. We are highly skilled and experienced in conveying the knowledge and skills necessary to make the Airport Fire Fighter an effective trauma care provider within a few days.

The IEC course has an emphasis on practical hands-on training and can incorporate a five day hospital placement where the skills and knowledge gained on the course can be carried out on live casualties in a supervised and controlled environment. We typically deliver the course at your Fire Station and its delivery can take on a number of formats. Please contact us for details.

The IEC course is rapidly becoming the ‘Gold Standard’ in Airport Fire Fighter trauma training with many of UK Airport Fire Services adopting this level of care provision.
